Straight from Switzerland to the heart of South Dakota, our boy Pete has completely stolen our hearts at Sioux Ridge Pointers. He is a classic liver-and-white Braque du Bourbonnais through and through, complete with the breed’s signature naturally short tail. Pete is incredibly smart and fiercely loyal, transitioning easily from a passionate, hard-working hunter to a calm, affectionate family sidekick who never passes up a good belly rub.

Johnny is the son of Voyageurs Point Pete, an imported BdB from Switzerland. He is one of the most affable, kind-hearted dogs we have. We wouldn’t normally point this out, because most Braque Du Bourbonnais behave like that – but he is just so remarkable, with a great personality. He has been working with birds now, and will start hunting with us this fall. Johnny also has a natural, short tail.
